Here is our final CD cover. We came to this final product because we felt it is different and unique to other covers we have researched.However, it still keeps to the conventions of the pop rock genre. For example, we have iconography through the use of the prop, being the guitar. This instrument is commonly associated with the genre. It also porrays our artists in a positive light as it shows that they are instrumentally talented.

Furthermore, one artist is weraring a black shirt and leggings. This connotes a more masculine side of the artist, and portrayig that she is a strong individual female. realting to the theme of matriarchy. The other artist is wearing a short dress and leather jacket. This presents her femininity and connotes her in a more sexual way. We thought that ahveing btoh ascpects in our artists through their costume was effective as it shows two sides of a strong female, both being feminine, whilst also being a strong female, which challenges ideolgies of the stereotypical female.
